bike glory

so this is my news for today--

i finally got my bike fixed AGAIN after the embarrassing sandy & 28th intersection accident. have i mentioned lately how much i love my bike? i love it. a lot. it's totally the new source of joy in my life, at least, when it's not broken.

there is a huge sale at valu village today. 50% off everything. whoa. i got yet another vintage dress. all the dresses i've been finding lately are the same cut. high waist. long flowy bottom.

relatedly, does anyone know how to fix a long zipper that's not, uhm, zipping? it just came unhooked from one side and that was that. i'm crafty, but not all that practical.

i've been bursting with creative energy all of a sudden. maybe it's the realization that christmas is coming soon and i promised to exchange homemade gifts with my family. i don't know. artsy folks in the world of lj-- if i wanted to seal a collage with charcoal on it, would i have to use some kind of fixative so it won't smear before i painted on matte mod podge?

went to tart last night (in a stripes and polka dots anti-rules outfit) and had the pleasure of walking home with mariah. we laughed about being called 'low femmes' and acted like lesbian credit cards. through the whole processing, though, i didn't feel a bit of anything. i was advice girl. i think i could have maybe made my peace.

afterschool club starts thursday. i am so incredibly overwhelmed i might puke. who decided this would be a good idea?
